Artifact - Learning How to Learn (in an Online Environment)

When I sat down to register for my classes, I hadn't yet decided that I wouldn't be staying on campus during fall quarter due to rapidly rising cases of COVID-19. I assumed that most of my classes would be remote, but that I might have a few smaller ones that met in person. Thus, I was surprised when I quickly realized that there were virtually no classes offered with in-person instruction during fall quarter. Mentally, I began to prepare for what it would be like to attend college online.

While I had already had my experience with online learning in high school, I knew that college would be very different, between not really having any personal connections to my teachers or peers (having not met them in person before) and the increased academic rigor of college classes. While it sounds odd, it soon dawned upon me that if I wanted to succeed, I would have to re-learn how to learn.
